Solider On’s programs weave the lifelines of integrity, dignity and hope into a three-phase plan for veterans.
We provide opportunities for resident veterans to receive treatment for drug and alcohol addictions. In addition, each veteran has access to quality medical care.
We offer transitional housing, independent housing, apartment and condominium-styled living quarters all with the necessary support services. Residents progress through this program with increasing independence while providing community service to other veterans and local service organizations.
We provide hope through our educational and job training services. Resident veterans become productive members of the community through job skills development and general employment through a partnership with local business and the Career Centers. Through community service veterans regain their hope to return to employment.
Services at our Leeds facility include secure housing, daily meals, and an assessment of clinical and vocational needs. We also provide resources such as recovery programs and job development and employment services.
At our Pittsfield site, we offer furnished studio apartments and transitional-style living arrangements with full dining services, as well as access to follow-up clinical services for all residents as required. We also foster business ownership, business management, and employment opportunities through our Veterans Skills Development Center.
In every program and service we offer, and every initiative we undertake, Soldier On relies on the generosity of caring individuals, organizations and companies. Make a donation today to help us continue to help homeless veterans regain hope and move along the path from homelessness to home ownership.
