Valerie, a U.S. Navy veteran, became a resident of the Gordon H. Mansfield Veterans Community in Tinton Falls, NJ in 2024. She is currently participating in her second session of Voices of Valor (VOV), a program by Music For All Seasons that brings together small groups of veterans and professional songwriters to collaboratively create and record original group songs. The VOV program holds significant meaning for Valerie, as it offers an environment for creativity, reflection, and self-expression as she blends her service background with healing through the arts. The program is funded by community donations to Soldier On, enabling veterans like Valerie to share their stories, honor their experiences, and inspire others through music and creative collaboration.
